“May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John 17:21
We recently had an event in which we shared stories from our three different ministry models: Campus Life, Parent Life and Juvenile Justice. Over the course of the event we heard both live and video testimony from students and volunteers. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of investing time in the lives of young people.
Mark Johnson, the voice of the Colorado Buffaloes, was our MC and shared a story about former Head Coach of CU, Bill McCartney. He shared that Coach McCartney would say that the most important thing you can say to someone is, “I believe in you.” Mark went on to share that, after thinking about it and speaking to a friend, he feels that “I believe in you” is the most important thing we can say when we become a follower of Jesus.
“I believe in you” is what our kids desperately need to hear each and every day. We are dedicated to introducing the love of Christ into the stories of today’s kids. Would you take some time to watch the following video that we created for the event and celebrate with us what God is doing in the lives of youth in Denver through our 3 ministry models?
Thank you for being a part of the ongoing conversation with youth in our city and helping us share God’s story. It's our honor to be the storytellers on your behalf who meet kids right where they are and give life to their story.
Providing young people in our community with the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become part of a local church.
