A Resounding Yes!

This past summer, I was given a tremendous opportunity to attend YFC Camp with two freshmen. One was an established Christian; the other, his non-believing best friend, “Josh”.

Sure, Josh and I had plenty of conversations while at camp. Aided by the speaker’s talks during the week, we even talked about God. But through that week, when asked if he had an answer to God (even if it were “No”), his response was:

“I don’t know.”

At the end of camp, I felt like I had done almost nothing to bring Josh closer to God.

However, God showed me that he can work regardless.

On the last night, in front of 200 other teens, Josh unexpectedly stood up and said “Yes” to God. During the drive home from camp, both friends were excited to learn more about Campus Life. And in the following days, I received a text from Josh:

“Brandon, I am really interested in trying to get Campus Life into my high school because I think it could really give kids like me the opportunity to find what they are looking for.”

Thank you for being a part of the ongoing conversation with youth in our city and helping us share God’s story.  It's our honor to be the storytellers on your behalf who meet kids right where they are and give life to their story.  Please pray for Josh and youth like him, for new and continued conversations, and for God to continue his work in the hearts of teens in Denver!

Providing young people in our community with the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become part of a local church.
